What Is A Dad?

A dad is someone who
wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up,
brushes you off,
and lets you try again.
A dad is someone who
wants to keep you from making mistakes
but instead lets you find your own way,
even though his heart breaks in silence
when you get hurt.
A dad is someone who
holds you when you cry,
scolds you when you break the rules,
shines with pride when you succeed,
and has faith in you even when you fail…
Dad, you’re everything a dad should be and some.

Fear Not

“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe” – Proverbs 29:25

“God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind”; so why do we fear man?
- We don’t fear God totally
- Our faith is weak
- Lack of boldness and confidence
- Have not fully appropriated the power of the Holy Spirit within
- Doubt God’s Word
- Trust in our fleshly capabilities
- Have not been totally captured by God’s love

If God is your Rock and Salvation
Your Shield and Buckler
Your Strong Tower
Your Provider and Comforter
Your Protector and Shelter….
